I would question this. I would like to see more evidence on it. I am not saying it is not possible but then why have we never heard about it before.

I, too, would not automatically believe anything Woodward says. He really went too far when he was "mind-reading" our president. Don't he WISH! I won't buy the book and have no intention of reading it.

There are terrific books, by people across the political spectrum, people who have intelligence and honesty. That's where I spend considerable money for books.

Actually it was reported long time ago tht GHWB and Rumsfeld did not like each other but that GHWB knew that Rumsfeld was the right choice and therefore he suggested the name. I don't know where I read it but it was said about the time of the pick of Rumsfeld. It was a comment about how GHWB did not hold grudges when it came time to back those whom he thought were good for the country.
