President Bush ended his European trip today with speeches in Lithuania and Romania. Bush was greeted in both places with large crowds of people, including estimates in Romania of 50,000 plus. And in what can only be called an emotional and uplifting moment, the crowds in Romania were treated to a rainbow as the President spoke. Bush responded with 'God is smiling on us.' The First Couple arrived back in Washington late this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

checked the mail box, mums the word. Yeah we better call it a night. azGOP has been at it since 5 ! I lived briefly in Solano Beach and El Cajon. Plus I camped up by Julian in the Cuyamaca's, Cleveland National Forest, all near San Diego.

Nite!
And please, DO SOMETHING about that weather??????
To: azGOPgal

And here's my still skunk-smelling girl peeing in the snow. LOL! Are you making her sleep outside?
Yowsers, that snow looks COLD. Don't know when we're gonna get our first BIG snow. We had about an inch of snow on Oct. 22nd! It snowed a little a week later, but that's all we've had. It's coming, I know. I'll have to put our "Let it Snow" sign out in the yard before the ground freezes. Our youngest son made the sign a couple of years ago in Cub Scouts!

I agree... just can't beat the beauty and the glory of our Stars & Stripes. (and you're very welcome).
To: baseballmom
Yeah, it's too bad someone can't use that talent for something better.
To: omegatoo
What a beauty! I once had a dog that looked like that. I still have her sister.

Well I do dabble in photography, but as much as some folks would like to believe I'm a RNC shill, alas, I'm just a patriotic Republian. I simply link the photos from news sources such as yahoo, netscape, and the White House site.

Nope, my girl is an indoor dog, but she LOVES snow! I can't wait for it to really snow hard because she has so much fun. They're predicting only 60 inches of snow this year, if that. El Nino seems to be affecting us again. For the past few years, we've had 52 inches, and then 137 inches, so it will be interesting. FYI, where I live, we average around 100+ inches a season. Thank you Lake Effect.

I would have to be committed to a loony bin if we ever got that much snow
I'm beginning to whine already, as it has fallen below 50 degrees. I hate winter. OK, I will go for a White Christmas - it's the ambiance, dontcha know. But please God, let it melt by the morning of the 27th.
This winter I will be especially nuts about the snow and ice because my son is hoping to get his drivers license in December. I keep trying to drag it out, telling him that experience is so important, and doesn't it make sense to wait until the spring to get the license?? He's not buying it. Dang!! Of course, I wouldn't have either at his age.
Your dog pictures are precious; our sweet Muttley really loves to play in the snow too.

I am reading it now. I am on page 113 and its a great book so far. Bought it as Sam's Club. They had Al and Tippers book and none were sold. Almost all of The Bush books were sold.

FYI, where I live, we average around 100+ inches a season. Thank you Lake Effect. Not being a native of MA, I have no idea what the average snowfall might be. We had a fairly mild winter last year, with very little snow. Of course we had just dropped over $1,000 on a brand new snow thrower; typical! I checked the Farmer's Almanac, and it said we'd have a winter like last year in temps, but much more snow. So that new machine may get taken through its paces this year!
After living here for 14 yrs., Sir SuziQ was finally persuaded to get the snow-thrower because he had a severe back injury in March of 2001 and decided to give up shoveling! It frankly would be cheaper to pay someone to plow, but because our garage doors open to the front rather than the side, there is no way for the truck to plow efficiently and we usually have to go back out when he's gone and shovel the leavings ourselves. Now we only have to do the front walk and stair, but that's what KIDS are for, right?

The Eastern Europeans seem to be more aware and grateful for the freedom which they now possess, and the contributions made by our government to achieve it, than those in Western Europe and in leftist enclaves of the United States.
To: Corporate Law
Absolutely true. Where have you been lately? We've missed you!
To: rintense
Been a little busy but always lurking. It is nice to be missed. I bet you are glad that basketball season is here (I seem to remember you being an MSU alum?).
To: Corporate Law
Oh yeah. Can't wait for MSU hoops! Charles Rogers announced he is going pro. Good for him. The MSU football program is a joke.
To: rintense
I was talking to the father of a friend from Michigan over the weekend, and he was lamenting the mess in the Spartan football program.
Izzo has the team built up again, so it looks like they will making a deep run in March. Hopefully, we can have some friendly barbs going on here, as my favorite of my alma maters (Xavier) is also favored to make a deep run as well. Unfortunately, Purdue is the only Big 10 team on our regular season schedule this year, next Tuesday as a matter of fact. College basketball and hockey, my favorite time of the year, LOL.
