San Francisco-AP -- Coretta Scott King is speaking out against the possibility of a war on Iraq.
She says an attack on Saddam Hussein would increase anti-American sentiment, create more terrorists and drain as much as 200 billion taxpayer dollars that she says should be invested in America.
The civil rights leader and widow of Martin Luther King Junior says homeland security ought to be "more about providing health care for every citizen, and less about reshuffling bureaucratic agencies and undermining our civil liberties."
King spoke in San Francisco last night, after receiving an award from the Metropolitan Community Foundation. It's a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organization that provides services to homeless and other needy people.

drain as much as 200 billion taxpayer dollars that she says should be invested in America. Invested = wasted on an already crimminally bloated welfare state.

Coretta is "dreaming" if she thinks one American gives a damn what she is saying about the war on Iraq. Let me go ask Snoopy what he thinks and let me get back to you.

The mask is off. The once noble civil rights movement is now exposed as being nothing more than just another arm of international marxism.

drain as much as 200 billion taxpayer dollars The attacks on the WTC and Pentagon and their aftermath cost a lot of money too, Coretta.

The civil rights leader and widow of Martin Luther King Junior says...Yawn. She's almost completely irrelevant.
To: GOPmember
Well, nobody cares what you think. You aren't MLK and stop trying to think you are.

And Coretta Scott King is relevent how?????
To: GOPmember
Who cares what she thinks. Besides, her husband had more girl friends than Stainman... Not that is necessarily relevent on this issue. Everyone seems to want to pipe up on this issue. Pretty soon, Freddy Krueger, Bella Lugosi, Frankenstein, and Sweet Charlotte will be interviewed on the major networks. Sheesh!

Coretta must be a real provocative political figure. When I saw her name in the title I said, "Who the hell is that?"
I will file her with the others that I consider ignorant of what really is going on in the world around her. One of these days these people will wake up to the consequences of nonaction. I only hope that it will be their own personal enlightenment and not another mass funeral procession that flips the switch.

"Let me go ask Snoopy what he thinks and let me get back to you."
Snoopy, has gone to the airfield to unlimber his Spad because her remembers when:
"The news had come out in the First World War
The bloody Red Baron was flying once more
The Allied command ignored all of its men
And called on Snoopy to do it again."
And now Snoopy is tanned, rested and ready!

Of course if we don't go to war with Iraq and they were able to detonate a nuclear weapon in Atlanta, and several thousands of people died and the city was uninhabitable for a few decades because of nuclear debris that would cost billions upon billions to remove and dispose of, not to mention costs of rebuilding.I dont suppose she would change her mind?Nah, she has a dream.Dumb dream. But its hers.
