I hate how liberals do this, they force massive numbers of impoverished illegal immigrants on us AGAINST OUR WILL, then claim that we're the bad guys because they're not treated as well as law abiding citizens. This is monstrous.
I will not vote for Bush if this happens. I will stay home or vote third party, this is an outrage.
The most powerful argument that can be made for severely restricting immigration, and going back to a National Origins quota system for those we do admit, is precisely in the effect that massive immigration from those having other cultures has on the continuity of American culture. Just in the arguments that the PC crowd use to restrict traditional American cultural norms in public, so as not to make the "diverse" uncomfortable, says a lot about what is wrong with not trying to limit the bulk of new immigrants to those who will be "comfortable," with traditional Americans; that is traditional Americans, acting, talking and teaching as traditional Americans--and honoring the unique qualities of their respective State cultures. A Nation is not a game of musical chairs!
