The Bush administration wants to grant amnesty to hundreds of thousands of Mexican illegal aliens now in the United States, according to the new U.S. ambassador to Mexico.
Tony Garza, sworn in this week at the White House, told reporters in Mexico City that reaching an accord legalizing the status of Mexican immigrants

I hate to keep harping ont his - but they are hired because they are subsidized by taxpayers. If the employer had to withhold and match taxes, provide workman's comp, and they or the employer had to provide medical expense, believe me there would not be as many 'needed'. They are a great bargain to employers - thanks to the taxpayers of this country.
Yes, you are presenting a fake argument. Did anyone reading this thread lose an immediate family member when the WTC was attacked by the Islamonazis? Does that mean that no one died in the collapse of the WTC!? Your argument isn't just fake, it is idiotic.
Absolutely.
At first I thought Americans might flee to Canada or someplace like that when things got bad enough, but what the Tombstone Tumbleweed did recently with its call to arms has completely changed my opinion:
Americans will and are ready to fight back against the invasion.
That was 2000 people, brainiac. If illegal aliens had only taken 2000 jobs in this country, your response would have been intelligent.
So, you are admitting to knowingly committing a federal offense? Maybe the INS would be interested in more information about you. If you do it again I hope you get caught. People like you are a significant part of the problem.
HeHee!
HeHee!
I'm not going to let these people jerk my chain all the time. I'm going to wait until the President actually does something, and judge him on the act, not the rumor, because there are going to be plenty of rumors.
You're right. Reading the article, I don't see where it actually says Bush is currently pushing for amnesty. It's more about Garza paying lip service to these Mexicans. The part about "when the economy gets better" is suspect too. It's as if he is just putting them off. I would prefer stronger language from the U.S. about this, though. The public tide is turning more and more against these illegal, criminal mooching invaders and I hope the President realizes it.
Another strawman?
So, we're better educated here at FR than average and have better jobs and incomes. If none of us has been beat out of a job, that means no American has?
Do you believe that when your taxes are raised that your net income isn't reduced?
Do you believe we're not all adversely affected by a $6 Trillion dollar and growing National Debt?
If Dubya pushes Amnesty through AND/OR does not secure our borders I will vote for ANYONE that runs against him. And I do mean ANYONE. I do not see America surviving if we continue to leave the borders open. Thus, I have no choice but to vote against Dubya if he doesn't enforce the will of the people.
A simple enough one would be construction jobs. In my area since Clinton has been in office these have gone from a 95% + white workforce to an almost completely illegal alien workforce. Now I dont know about you but I find it hard to imagine that all those white workers suddenly felt that construction work was too lowly.
So do we care about the rule of law that protects our society or are republicans just better than everyone else much like democrats?
Excellent point. Until Bush actually grants amnesty, no reason to blame him. But, we might as well keep our voices heard and help him understand the outcome of such action.
