Unfortunately, Thune had no choice. Anyone who saw the "recounts" in Florida watched Democrats cheating even with a national TV camera pointed at them. It would be even worse without the cameras. Since some of the "recounters" would be Democrats, the fix is in. There is no way for a Republican to win a close recount.
From what I have gathered from other South Dakota Freepers, they don't use or have "chad" ballots in SD.
If there are enough Republicans to offset Dem witnesses, a recount should be a straight-forward no hassle deal. There would be no looking up at the card to see if there is a "dimpled chad"...it's a black mark in a round or oval circle next to a candidate's name.
That seems more difficult to cheat to me...
I would love to see them go for it. SD constituents deserve better for the next 6 years than a fraud like Johnson, who stole the election representing them in cahoots with Tommy Dasshole.
Time is too short and too important to wait 2 or 6 years to get rid of either one of those P.O.S.'s
And some not since they passed away.
