- CLINTON INEPTITUDE, RAGE, DYSFUNCTION BECOME APPARENT ON SENATE FLOOR
- (The CLINTON recession / the CLINTON debacle incarnate: 9/11)
Mrs. CLINTON. [snip] we went back to our last recession under the previous President Bush. We thought that would be a good model as to what was done five times to extend unemployment insurance benefits. [snip]
If it was in some way misguided to rely upon the first Bush administration's extension of unemployment insurance, then we are going to say we did the best we could to look at what had been effective and worked in the past.
Mr. NICKLES. So the answer to my question is that language is still in the bill?
Mrs. CLINTON.We have the same language that was used in the first Bush recession. Now we are in the second Bush recession. We are using the same language. It worked then.
Mr. NICKLES. Will the Senator yield again? So that language is still in there. I will tell my colleague, I will never agree to this language passing. I will also tell my colleague, if she is politicizing this, talking about the first Bush recession and the second Bush recession, the first compensation package did not have the same triggers.[snip]
See Hillary yell at Nickles. But bring along your earplugs |
Had Nichols been Senate Majority Leader during the postmodern Oz called clinton, the Senate would have removed the co-rapist utter failures from office, which may have been in time to thwart both the CLINTON recession and the CLINTON debacle incarnate: 9/11. |

Nobody forced you to open this thread.No...I just clicked on what I thought would be an interesting thread...Along with clicking on about a dozen others...As I often do. Then, I couldn't figure-out why all the later ones were timing-out...I went back and saw "Mia T" in the header of one, and it all made sense. So I hit "Stop" and posted a request to Mia.
As for you...Nobody forced you to stick your nose somewhere where it does not belong.

Get an iMAC and live it up!

My friend has a Mac (a VERY expensive one) and I hate it. I'm not a graphics guy so I don't think I need a Mac. Just a cable motem is what I need, I think.
And I don't even need that for Free Republic. Mia's posts are the only ones that give me trouble.

And you hate it..why? It's looks, its non-problem performance, it's share of market...what?
To: Johnny Shear
I don't want to set my computer like that...

I agree with Paulus Invictus. There is nothing like a Mac.
Notwithstanding Steve Jobs' political myopia, technologically (and, in my view, aesthetically) speaking, Apple rules; a Mac does everything better, not just graphics. Configuration and installations are simple and elegant. It is truly plug and play.
The new flat panel g4 imac is sufficiently fast, elegant in performance and looks; the dual processor g4 desktops--especially when paired with the 22" (my preference) or 23" flat panel display--are awesome. The Titanium Powerbooks are great. And the new unix-based OS, espec 10.2 (Jaguar), seems to be quite stable. And, finally, the peripheral hardware and software (iDVD, iPhoto, iTunes, etc.) are well-integrated and elegant.
As for broadband, you should explore Optimum Online. It is very reliable and it will save you a huge amount of time even if you just download standard, graphics-lite FR threads. and web pages.
