Your posts are always so sobering. It pulls me back from the busyness of the day to remember the sacrice that was paid for me to enjoy the freedoms I have. How precious they are! Thank you for your service to our country and to the service you are still rendering here. We need to be reminded that all of what we enjoy did not just happen by accident, but by blood, sweat and tears. I am also reminded of those who stand ready in places around the world this morning to make the same sacrifice. It puts my little problems in a good perspective and reminds me once again to praise God for America and for freedom. Thank you, sir!

Thanks for taking time to acknowledge these warriors. I'm proud to remember them here. We really were a "band of brothers".

Thank you for the post to ladtx. It echoes what many of us feel and we should probably express our thanks to him more often. It is a fine service he is rendering...

Hello, BlessedAmerican. Thank you for commenting on the daily tributes from ladtx to his fallen Vietnam helicopter pilots. We feel blessed to have this be a part of our threads. I know it's not something that he takes lightly, and that's why it's such an honor he chooses our thread to do this.
