how about another one of Daschole's caring liberal friends Alec Baldwin's threatening the family of Henry Hyde and threatening to have them stoned until they were dead?

Gore started all this by saying he felt threatened by "FReepers" yelling "Get out if Cheney's house."
If you can't stand the heat, gentlemen, get out of the kitchen.

Don't forget the NAACP commercials in Texas showing the back of a car with chains attached to it ... no threat there! Just an everyday political advertisement.

Shrill, shriller, shrillest. Who's the chicken and who's the egg?
Quit dissembling, and admit that the dems were on the wrong side of national security, and got shot down at the polls.
How do I know that? Because by 90 to 9 the Senate voted Homeland Security.
The dems know why they got whacked. They just don't want to admit their mistakes, rather blaming their woes on Limbaugh.
It is a foolish strategy, but hey, they have devolved in to foolishness. Otherwise, why would they prefer to be led by Daschle and Pelosi?
The GOP needs some really GOOD designated rebuttal guys (and gals) for when Daschle and others provide opportunities, like this.
Hayworth is great. How about Nighthorse, on a Harley?
The dems counter with Bawney Fwank.

"Certainly in terms of threats, I think that there's no question," Daschle continued,
"in my time in public life it has gone up exponentially." Perhaps Daschle may want to consider his own shrill whining rhetoric as the source of these alleged threats... just a thought.

"Gore started all this by saying he felt threatened by "FReepers" yelling "Get out if Cheney's house."
Actually, Pelosi started the ball rolling by claiming that the republicans were extremists and that she was merely a misunderstood moderate.
Don't think for a second that this is an accident, my friends. It isn't accidental that both Gore and Daschle, as well as Pelosi, have made these statements over the last few weeks.
What they're trying to do, of course, is to paint the Republicans and their supporters as (you guessed it) extremists. This has been orchestrated by the Clintons and the DNC, of course, with the express purpose of making middle America afraid of the big, bad Republicans.
Look for more in the weeks to follow.

Ever notice that Daschle and the rest of the Dems attempt to subliminally pepper the words "clearly" and "troubled" in their statements?
In 2000, it was "gravitas."

"Certainly in terms of threats, I think that there's no question," Daschle continued, "in my time in public life it has gone up exponentially." Threats to the jobs of Democratic senators and representatives, maybe. I guess that must be what he means.

Reporters failed to challenge the angry Democrat about examples where Republicans have been targeted by mainstream media, such an incident two years ago when CBS's "Late Late Show" appeared to suggest it might be a good idea to assassinate President Bush.
What a shocker!
I agree with you, Reactionary (oops they'll really love your screen name:) ALL OF THIS is ORCHESTRATED. And just as stupid as last time... Try as they will to dumb down every American, some of us just keep taking power through knowledge. Nasty little Daschle and Hitlery are beside themselves with hate. The lies come naturally.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
Earlier in the day, a bitter-sounding Daschle had complained, "What happens when Rush Limbaugh attacks those of us in public life is that people aren't satisfied just to listen. They want to act because they get emotionally invested."OK Honey, I'll put the tea bags back. Guess I was just getting too emotionally invested."
To: Maceman
"Certainly" and "no question" have been cropping up lately as well.
To: Solamente
Well I'm troubled too! (Saddened and troubled by these clearly troubling actions...) LOL

The list could go on and on.
What a loser, this tops Al Gore!

...And so, you know, the threats to those of us in public life go up dramatically, on our families and on us, in a way that's very disconcerting.I'm sitting here racking my brain and trying to think of the last member of Congress or the Senate (or his family) who was the victim of even a politically-inspired beating, much less murder. But, for the life of me, I can't think of any!
Heaven knows a lot of them deserve at least a healthy thrashing. So, the threat can't be too serious, can it?
Now, if Little Tommy were talking about his political life, that would be a different story.

Tom Dachle addresses the media outside the Capitol Building.
"I am NOT a weiner dog!"
To: Solamente
There is certainly no question but that l'il Tommy is clearly too troubled to be a Sinator.

I'm saying they are trying to hypnotize the average sap with words associated with truth and good intentions; after which they proceed with what did not work for them up front.

Hatch BristlesHmmm -- wonder what the Democrats fear more: Hatch "bristling" OR Lott "fuming"...Ooooooh -- scare-eeee....
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
Sen. Daschle did not reveal how many threats he receives on a weekly basis - or if he has reported any of them to law enforcement.Nor did Daschle reveal that his own internal investigation into all four of the threats, revealed that they all came from long time registered democRATs that blame him for the slaughter in November.
