Well, I would flatly prefer it if there was absolutely no reportage on election results until those results are certified and final. I can wait 24 cold hours to find out who won, and so can everyone else on Earth. I would very much like to never again see or hear those smug, smarmy, card-carrying-democrat ageants-provocateurs spouting speculations and projections ever again.
As a broader principle, I would like to see the evening news return to what it once was: One HALF HOUR of reportage of CONFIRMED FACTS. Everything else is ratings-bait, items boosting sales of products advertised between "news" segments, and Leftist propaganda. I see absolutely no reason to allow the media to continue getting away with misreporting data and deliberate fabrication of falsehoods in any venue, let alone politics.

"where is the "vigilanteism" in a fair slow hanging after a fair swift trial? It'd be legal!" LOL...I made the same point exactly!! I said he should be tried fer Treason and the appropriate Justice applied in my prose, but that didn't all fit into the lyrics. As grassontop what happened to him when he said the EX-Traitor-in-Chief should be put before a firing squad...a knock on the door from yer local S.S. agent will turn yer hair grey...LOL!!
FReepin' the EX-POTUS has been soooo much less stressful than FReepin' the sitting Commander-in-Chief...MUD

Ok Louie. I guess I was thinking about about an outline type map of the US where we could add red dots as we discovered problem areas.
We probably wouldn't really need it right away and as the thread develops, maybe you'll get some ideas.Sounds good. As long as it's not a 'daily' thing. I don't think I could keep up with it.
I have a couple of ideas. I'll freepmail you later. : )
To: ST.LOUIE1
No. Probably just update it whenever the thread is renewed.
To: PhiKapMom
Ping to the supersize list including Florida. If you can't, let me know and I'll ping Florida. bttt
To: sweetliberty
No. Probably just update it whenever the thread is renewed.Good enough!
Unless you renew it every day. LOL
To: ST.LOUIE1
LOL....nah, probably every 1500-2000 posts.
To: sweetliberty; ST.LOUIE1
How about quarterly updates on a map, or every other month? That would probably be all we'd need, initially, IMHO. When we get closer to election time, you could have a "final" problem map posted, like the month before.
To: nicmarlo
Oh we can talk about it later. I will just post a list initially.
To: nicmarlo; sweetliberty
We'll get it together. : )

Am just trying to offer ideas/suggestions. The prospect seems overwhelming....there are hundreds of precincts in areas....
I was just looking around at kinds of maps, precinct info., etc. and I found this regarding Elizabeth Dole:
U.S. Senate AP Totals
Elizabeth Dole (R) 1,229,836
Erskine Bowles (D) 1,029,551
Sean Haugh (L) 33,722
2739 (100%) of 2739 precincts reporting
My guess is map by precinct is OUT! lol.
To: ST.LOUIE1; sweetliberty
But this county map looks as overwhelming as precincts for one district!!! [we will have to become geography/county experts, : )].
To: ST.LOUIE1; sweetliberty
I'm signing off for now.....you both have a good one!
To: nicmarlo
Oh I agree. That is why I modified it to county. And there will doubtless be some that are known to have problems, such as Pulaski and Jefferson here. And then, of course we would want to focus on those that are a part of important races. Not that they're not all important, but you know what I mean. Like unseating Tiny Tommy warrants extra attention to corrupt counties in South Dakota.
To: nicmarlo; ST.LOUIE1
Not really. That county map is great! That is exactly what I had in mind! Then all it would take would be either a red dot OR just coloring in a county that was determined to be predisposed to having "issues".
To: nicmarlo
Ohhhhhhhh....my heart almost attacked me! That is intimidating! LOL
To: nicmarlo
Of course, on the really small states with lots of counties, we might need to do a separate county map of that state. That isn't a big deal. Easy to find with Google. It is really just to serve as an illustration anyway and not really necessary to the goal.

This may not be as 'doable' as previously thought. : (

I'm back.....not because I really want to, but there's some little inconveniences here at home tonight.....oh well. I'm glad that map is helpful....I will try to find some others (maybe they won't give Louie a heart attack, lol!)
