Because the RATS are coming on to complain about the "pork" that the Republicans had in the bill. CNN is thrilled by this. They love it when the RATS trash the GOP and they are welcoming them all on.
Barkley voted against Shedd...interesting. So did all the usual suspects.

Most of the RATS we hate most voted NO on Shedd. Typical.

The real vote took place earlier on the Daschle amendment.(52-47 against)
This was a run for cover and CYA for the dims vote.
