No one is saying what was in the tanker.
But apparently it has created a dangerious gas cloud.
People going to the hospital have red faces and blisters on their hands and faces!

Dang...
Y'know, causing HAZMAT spills in the right places can cause a ton of terror and hassle. If I were some al-Qaida scumbag, I'd think about that. How hard to carjack one of those things and the cause it to overturn or something like that?

my guess is either sodium hypochlorite or muriatic (hydrochloric) acid.

What is an "excessive explosion"?

I would guess anything larger than an m-80 would be pretty exessive.

FWIW, no wind in PA today . . . Old Glory hanging motionless on the pole . . . so the cloud would be relatively stationary . . .

What would be the affects ?

"my guess is either sodium hypochlorite or muriatic (hydrochloric) acid." Just someone trying to winterize their REALLY REALLY REALLY BIG swimming pool.

Acid of some sort?
To: Not Insane
well, to me "excessive explosion" would indicate an outside force. Like a land mine or something. Guess I'm paranoid.
