Did anyone hear Lott say if this has to go to conference, who gets to choose who goes? I took that to mean he wasn't necessarily going to agree to Daschle getting to do it. Does anyone know how that would work?

Landrieu will wait till the end to see if her vote is needed by the democrats, imo. If not then she maybe released to vote against Daschle trying to help in her run off race.

I am hoping that the RATS succeed in stopping this bill. A better one will pass in January and the RATS will carry the "obstructionist" letter on their forehead for years.
