However, the economic argument does not hinge entirely on the transfer of money- because theree ARE advertisers, you are more or less forced to use some of your time listening to their pitch.
Oh, you say, I always turn the volume down, so I get to skip the advertisemnets... In that case, you are "paying" by having fewer minutes of actual programming to listen to.
Of course, if you subscribe to Rushes premium website, you can listen to any show broadcast over the past 14 days, WITHOUT any interruptions, anytime you choose. I find this to be worth the twelve cents a show it costs me.
You may not- I don't make my living trying to convince people to lisyten to Rush, so it doesn't matter to me what you do. But the complete lack of understanding of basic economics bothers me. (Of course, it really isn't taught in American schools, except as a subset of the Socialist indoctrination that goes on there...)
