All freepers in good standing world wide are welcome.

Location: Moran's (downtown) in the WTC area 103 Washington St. New York, NY 10006
Location is still tentative as we are still negotiating for private room, which they usually dont open unless its a group of 70.
This landmark location, built in 1897, was formally an inn and later became St. George's Chapel during the Depression in 1929. St. George's Chapel catered to the local merchants and residents, which were mostly of Syrian Catholic descent. This area came to be known as "Little Syria." In 1979 the church retired, and the Moran family acquired and converted the site and began operating on December 26, 1986.
You can find the current ping list on my home page and I will update it with all who show interest.
Please freepmail me with any ideas or suggestions so this can be a wonderful gathering. I have been emailing back and forth with Firebrand planning the party and we are going to have a very nice turnout.

It's probably your one chance to meet so many FReepers at one time, and your one shot to meet Mad Ivan!
Actually, I just checked my schedule and realized I made a mistake. I am NOT working that night but the night before so I can just show up with bags under my eyes. I will just need to find a sitter for my kids until my husband gets home. Count me in as a definite probable:)
Yes, I'll get him to autograph my copy of Lake Woebegon Days, and I'll say, "By the way, the rest of your work, and your politics, are daft"
Regards, Ivan
The chicken marsala was better than I have had in any Italian restaurant and nutmeg will confirm that as well! It was just so fresh and tender.
I order either marsala piccata or rollantine at Italian restaurants and this recipe at Moran's was extra extra good!
