I was already under the impression that PBS was the network of choice for the Democrats. After all, the network exclusively promotes such things as buggery, fagotry, pedophilia, mindless pacifism, anti-americanism, socialism, communism, left wing fascism, sodomy, bestiality, lesbianism and other assorted deviant perverted behaviours and ideas common among registered democrats.

The question therefore is, why do they need another netwrok when they already have one subsidized by their favorite source of money? The taxpayer!!

PBS is insufficiently liberal for the high brow and arty types. With DEM TV they'd be able to pump full-throated liberal proganda 24/7 over the public airwaves. The downside is no one would tune in to watch. After all what can they say that would attract viewers? And no one likes watching liberals whine - even for comedic entertainment.
