Point me to a source other than you on that.

Check a periodic table in a basic chemistry book. Chlorine, fluorine, bromine, and iodine are all in the same column, meaning that they all have nearly identical chemical properties. We'd better not even go near iodized salt... sea salt is even worse...

As long as most of the OTHER kids around them have been vaccinated. If not we can expect a rapid return to the lovely days of the 19th and early 20th centuries when the cemeteries were full of 3 to 9 year olds, and it was a rare family of any size that avoided burying a child.

You may want to read a bit more about fluoride. It's NOT necessary, nor is it good for you. It is POISON.

Perhaps I should clarify things a bit:

exDemMom, PhD, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Current research focus: toxicology.

I think I do know something about fluoride. It's been mentioned in a few classes I had to take along the way. I know even more about poisons in general: the dose makes the poison. In other words, these anti-fluoride screeds spend a lot of time detailing the horrors of fluoride poisoning, without ever mentioning that the doses needed to cause such spectacular effects are hundreds or thousands (or more) times higher than the typical daily dose from toothpaste and fluoridated water.

Your body, I might add, has a wonderful system for removing poisons: the liver and kidneys. Without them, we'd be dead, since toxins are present in virtually all the food we eat (that includes the "natural" and "organic" stuff, too). The only way to avoid ingesting poison is to avoid eating, drinking, breathing, or touching anything.

not all children have the hyeractivity that goes along with ADD/ my son has ADD and by the end of the first grade could not spell cat. with medication he excelled. now a junior in high school he no longer takes the meds and is doing extremely well in computer science. i agree it is definitly an excuse for alot of kids,parents and teachers, but if one does the research and has well trained doctors, great teachers and the correct testing and lots of patience ADD can be wiped out.

you know if you just brush 3 times a day, floss once a day and see the dentist every 6 months this flouride discussion would not even be taking place...one has to take responsiblity for their own teeth and all the "use this and your teeth will be fine" on the market do not take the place of good old fashion brushing and flossing. The will complain about you and your children NOT allowing them to sit in a classroom next to your child. You see, they have a right to expose you to any disease they so choose. It's their rights, ya see! Like it or lump it!

I'd love to see your explanation why kids whose bodies are vaccinated should then have anything to fear from kids who aren't. Isn't that the POINT of the vaccination? Sheesh.

And I am one of that group that would be in line for the vaccinations the day of the government making them free, but I can see why plenty of people don't want them mandatory. Especially after being forced to present my medical records to the college I attended in order to continue classes. I had the vaccinations required, but they required me to get more because they didn't like the date the doctor had written for my first MMR (even though I'd already gotten my SECOND), on which he'd mistakenly written the year before I was born. I had to plop down another $20 simply because the doctor didn't like an obvious, common error.

Leave major life decisions to people's judgment. If you're right, they'll die and you'll get your government anyway. If you're wrong, you'll just have annoyed them and they'll get involved in government and get you back by messing with YOU.
