"However, at least the regular schools won't let their children into classrooms next to my kids, where they pose a disease threat to all the other children."

I'd love to see your explanation why kids whose bodies are vaccinated should then have anything to fear from kids who aren't. Isn't that the POINT of the vaccination? Sheesh.

And I am one of that group that would be in line for the vaccinations the day of the government making them free, but I can see why plenty of people don't want them mandatory. Especially after being forced to present my medical records to the college I attended in order to continue classes. I had the vaccinations required, but they required me to get more because they didn't like the date the doctor had written for my first MMR (even though I'd already gotten my SECOND), on which he'd mistakenly written the year before I was born. I had to plop down another $20 simply because the doctor didn't like an obvious, common error.

Leave major life decisions to people's judgment. If you're right, they'll die and you'll get your government anyway. If you're wrong, you'll just have annoyed them and they'll get involved in government and get you back by messing with YOU.

but i thought your kids were vaccinated, and have nothing to fear from exposure?

Just because people are vaccinated against smallpox doesn't mean they can't get sick with smallpox. There have been cases where vaccinated individuals have contracted the disease, but they didn't die because the vaccine strengthened their immune system. Also, they pose a threat to newborns who have not yet been vaccinated.

People who don't get the required vaccinations are receiving the benefits of others doing their parts to fight the spread of disease, and yet they are personally contributing nothing. They are the "draft-dodgers" in the community's war against deadly disease.

I didn't say this. The Engineer did. Post 8. I was responding to this in my post. I said here in AZ unvaccinated kids could go to class. We just have to sign a waiver.

I think this is also meant for The Engineer. And I agree with you. :) Thanks. vg
