Something seems fishy here re Burton's committee. How hard was it to find out that the DOJ had possession of the surviellance tapes? Weren't they dealing with the DOJ all along? Isn't the FBI under/part of DOJ? This Office of Naval Intel thing seems almost a red herring to me.

Why is Burton losing his chairmanship? Is is a term limit thing? Does Burton not being chairman anymore, necessarily halt this investigation. Would the new chairman - whoever he/she is- continue this investigation?

I also worry that these tapes could be destroyed if the evidence would point to a government coverup that an Iraqi or other ME terrorists were involved. Why keep them (ala Nixon) if they would show that the government intentionally kept this info suppressed.

You all know I 'm not a Kool-Aid drinker for anyone.But, many Freepers are.Is this why NO ONE in love with Bush and crew,does what should be done?Those of you who have given the big bucks to Bush and company should just say .."Give up all the OKC tapes, pix, everything ,or you will never get another penny from me"....Plus, "I will work against you all in the next election"..
All of the agencies in this government are controlled by BUSH.Just make BUSh do it!
