The clowns do this with regularity. They did not raise the threat-level. Then when they do, they can't even justify raising the Tom Ridge color code threat-level!

Between the FBI and the INS, the Russkies must be laughing their asses off at the United States. I think the FBI's concern is legitimate.
It said:
"In selecting its next targets, sources suggest Al Qaeda may favor spectacular attacks that meet several criteria: high symbolic value, mass casualties, severe damage to the American economy and maximum psychological trauma. The highest-priority targets remain within the aviation, petroleum and nuclear sectors, as well as significant national landmarks."

It just so happens that this year 2002, is an exact duplicate of the year 1963 with the calendar days falling on the exact same days of the week. Christmas was on Weds, that year, its on a Weds this year. Nov 22nd was on a Friday. It's on a Friday this year.

How many times have we, who were alive on that fateful day, Friday, November 22nd 1963, said that we can remember exactly what we were doing on that date and at that hour, when Kennedy was shot.

Would it not be symbolic opportunity for Al Queda to want to substitute our memories of that day and hour with one of their own making.

I hope we are all a little more watchful that day.

Our threat level, color coded should have been "RED", before 9/11 and every single day afterward.

Are they really scaring Americans or just alerting LE, to keep their eyes open ? As a child of the cold war I spent many drills hiding under the desk, during red scare drills. The sirens would sound once a week and all the kids pulled their sweater over their heads and crouched under the desk. Big Deal.

I am glad the FBI and others are letting us know to be more aware.

On second thought, I will take a $1??,000.00 or so a year to help out. Dashole, said his raise was not a raise, but only a cost of living thing, the American people would understand, if only the press would tell them.

I am sure that the American people would understand that if tall-tex and some very bright, well armed FReepers and thier staff's took a couple of billion dollars out of thier pockets.
