With the Skins outta the playoff hunt and the HOOS not playing football again until late-December, I have nothing I wanna watch on TeeVee until college basketball kicks into high gear, so once I get the kids and wife down to bed, FReepin's high on my list of priorities...LOL!! As for sleep, ever since UVA Architecture school--where all-nighters were sorta par for the course--I usually don't need more than 4-6 hours a night. Eventually, it catches up to you, but one 8-hour night and it's like I never missed a wink of sleep.

BTW...don't know if yer a Hannity and Colmes fan, but last night I watched them interview KISS's Ace Freeley and Gene Simmons...LOL!! Sean was dissin' Gene about bird-doggin' chicks, but I thought it sounded sorta ChurchLady-ish since Simmons said he's never been married and makes no promises to the babe of the evening. And Ace looks like he's had a face lift...they ain't gettin' any younger, maybe that's why they continue to wear the make-up!!

Please pardon the vanity; however, with two young children, my wife and I don't get to the movies much anymore and I'm just getting around to watching "Saving Private Ryan." I must say, while I can't stand Spielberg's politics, he does tell one Hell of a story. As coincidence would have it, we rented this movie on Memorial Day weekend, and I was floored by the sacrifice our forefathers made in the fight against Tyranny and Injustice. My hat is off to all those Freepers out there who have fought in defense of our Country and our Liberty, as well as those who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. To quote Abraham Lincoln, "I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice on the Altar of Freedom."
And to those of you who are losing heart in our ongoing battle against Tyranny and Injustice in our own Country, please remember the sacrifices our predecessors made...and realize that Bill Clinton is no match for the progeny of our honored forebears.

And she notes whenever possible that she's voted with Mr. Bush 74% of the time. "I will work with the President, as I have in the war against terrorism, to reduce taxes, to support him in many, many ways," she said recently on NBC's "Meet the Press." This Saturday's Louisiana runoff is about whether the GOP's Senate majority will reach 52, or stay at a more precarious 51. But more broadly it's an illustration of the dilemma faced by the entire Democratic Party given Mr. Bush's popularity. In Washington, liberal interest groups and partisan loyalties dictate that they take an anti-Bush line. But that can be suicide back home, especially in the South, where voters want to see the Bush agenda enacted."
