Same thing, in a way. Back during the Buchanan/Bush Wars of yesteryear, I learned there were distinct types of GoPatGoers. For instance, there were true conservatives who respected Pat's rhetoric and were troubled by his abandonment of conservatism vis a vis Trade Protectionism and Disempowering the Federal Leviathan, and there were a lot of them who just picked Buchanan becuz he wasn't Bush I's son, whom they called "Acorn." A final group, and the ones who still claim all would be good in this world if we could just get Buchanan or McStain or anybody other than who we got in there. They are the GoPatGo Trolls, IMHO.
