It's very sad how little attention this story has gotten.

I think if they had gotten the word out faster there would've been a better chance for these women.

Alice has been on my mind everytime I go shopping, to an ATM etc...

Her day was as ordinary as they come probably UNTIL these criminals decided her fate.

When I first noted the disappearance of Samantha Burns, the college student from Huntington, W.V., I wondered if there was a connection to Alice. Then, Tuesday night I read about the brief abduction of 8-year-old Ashley Wolford from Barboursville, which is actually a suburb of Huntington.

Today, we've learned through additional articles that Fulks has a long-time friend from childhood who lives in Huntington, and he and Basham spent two days with her. Fulks was in Huntington on Tuesday. Tuesday night the 8-year-old child was briefly abducted.

This is just speculation, but my scenario: For whatever reason, 8-year-old Ashley Wolford was left alone in a car. Fulks left his friend's home and was scouting for a car to steal to replace Alice's BMW. He saw the Wolford car and took it. Perhaps he didn't know there was a child in the car until after he was a few miles from where he stole the car. As he drove, he turned the radio on and heard the Amber Alert, and probably a descrition of the vehicle he was driving. He feared being caught with a kidnapped child and sought a place to abandon the vehicle. He left it in a shopping plaza across from a hospital in Huntington .......where he knew there would be people who would spot the car. He left the car running which would also alert attention to the vehicle. I think Fulks was trying to replace Alice's BMW, because at that time he knew police were looking for it. When he left the Wolford vehicle, he returned to where he left Alice's BMW.

My questions. 1. Have police taken finger prints from this stolen vehicle and compared with Fulk's? 2. Have the police shown 8-year-old Ashley a picture of Fulks for identification?
