This is an urgent plea for help from Prairie Lady; these are her posts: [copied]
I JUST got off the phone with my neice. It seems my sister (her mother) is missing since yesterday between 3pm and 4:40pm yesterday from the SouthCarolina area.
She headed north as far as we can track, but then nothing. This is TOTALLY uncharacteristic of her.
We need to know if she is on her own willingly making decisions, or if she has been abducted and is in need of help. Is there anybody from that area that can help?
----------------------
ok, she spoke to hubbie from home via phone about 3 pm yesterday afternoon. She left home at that time saying she was headed for her local walmart near Aynor South Carolina..I don't know the exact town...maybe conroe or something? She never made it to walmart. Survaliance tapes show she never went in there. She withdrew some money from the bank locally. She put gas in her car at the north carolina / south carolina state line (cherry creek). She withdrew a BUNCH of money in Raliegh Durham North Carolina. She spoke to her daughter at 4:30 saying she was going christmas shopping and that she would be late. But she never made it home.
If she had any inclinations to leave home, she never indicated it, and she would NOT be heading NORTH!!
She is 5'7 inches tall, LONG legs, 150 lbs, has very short medium brown hair. lots of freckels, hazel eyes. Driving a Dark Blue BMW 4 door with a mini antennea on the driver's side on the post between the door and the windshield, licence plate # 845HLG
----------------------
Go ahead and post it at freeps..thanks

My brother in law is former military police. He made a call to the police and is tracking bank usage which is showing itself to be very abnormal such as numerous attempts to use the various cards but rejects due to wrong pin numbers. He's requested survalance tapes from the banks as well. She was supposed to go to walmart, but walmart survaliance tapes show she never made it there. So, hes compiling stuff to show that something IS very wrong.
Also, she talked to her daughter AFTER one of the cash drafts and said someting weird to her daughter...like I love you...and she NEVER says that to THAT daughter.
Anyway, I didn't want to put all this on the boards...
This is too weird.

I have yet to read or hear any strong evidence re: contact or sighting of Alice after her cell phone call to her daughter.Which was shortly after a video cam at an ATM in Shallote(sp) showed the 2 men and apparently Alice with them. Then the phone call, at 4:30. Next sighting of MEN ONLY was at Bolivia, NC. I'd say givin that it was only 5:30-6:00 PM at Bolivia sighting that they dropoped her somewhere between Shallote and Bolivia. They need a search party on the ground doing a grid search of that 17.27 mi area.

Another prayer BUMP for Alice.
Please Lord, let her be found today! In Jesus Name, Amen.

They must have ditched her somewhere in that area. Where again is that abandoned trailer park?

The FBI, along with a infrared helicopter, the Horry County police bloodhounds, and a team of officers searched a large wooded area near Waccamaw Drive in Conway around 6 PM Wednesday night. Waccamaw Drive sits off Highway 501 By-Pass where it crosses the Waccamaw River. The helicopter seemed to focus its search in the woods off Waccamaw Drive. The search area bordered at least one neighborhood and included Wonderland Drive, which was the location of an abandoned mobile home park flooded after Hurricane Floyd. The park has since been cleaned up. Answer to my own question.

According to Mapquest.com, driving distance between Shallote and Bolivia is about 17.27 mi. and that is by fastest route, shortest route, or avoid highways route.
This tells me that there are NOT too many main roads in the area.

All they wanted was her car and money. They must have ditched her somewhere in that area.Going by the time stamp on the Bolivia ATM film I'd say they did not have time to go anywhere else and drop her.

I don't think there IS any... :(
To: alexandria
Here is a thought. I would think most of the area is rural farm/timber like land. No one knows the property better than the owners themselves. Is there people available that could go door to door and ask the owners if there are timber access or "back of the property" access roads on their property?
Just grasping at more straws here.

Nationwide Manhunt Ends Near Bristol
Police say fugitive suspected in kidnapping, other crimes sought refuge with brother in Goshen
By TIM LOGAN
Tribune Staff Writer
GOSHEN -- A nationwide manhunt and two-week crime spree ended Wednesday morning on a hilly county road south of Bristol.
That's where Elkhart County police arrested Chadrick Fulks, a fugitive who federal authorities suspect of several robberies, car-jackings and a still unsolved kidnapping.
Fulks, 25, was seeking refuge in Goshen with his brother and his brother's girlfriend, police said. He was apparently staying at their house on the town's north side.
Fulks had been on the run since Nov. 4, when he and Branden Bashem escaped from a Kentucky jail. The pair is suspected of kidnapping a 44-year-old South Carolina woman, Alice Donovan, who has not yet been found.
Police also believe they stole a car from a man in southern Indiana and may have committed several robberies along the way.
Bashem, 21, was caught in Ashland, Ky., Sunday. Police believe Fulks eluded them in southern Ohio Monday night and then made his way to Goshen, where his brother lives.
Wednesday morning, the FBI asked Goshen police to watch the brother's Oakridge Avenue home, because they thought Fulks might seek refuge there, said Special Agent Thomas Fuentes.
Apparently he did.
Late in the morning, police followed a Chevrolet Beretta that was leaving the residence. A few miles away, on County Road 14, they pulled it over.
Fulks got out and ran, police said. He tried to enter a nearby home but was caught, said Middlebury Marshal Greg Thomas, one of the officers on the scene. Fulks' brother and his girlfriend were also in the car, and all three were taken into custody.
Fulks is being held on federal charges including kidnapping, car-jacking and unlawful flight, Fuentes said.
He is to be arraigned by a magistrate in U.S. District Court in South Bend, but officials are unsure where he will be tried.
The brother and his girlfriend were being detained Wednesday pending further investigation.
Federal officers were interviewing all three suspects at the Goshen Police Department. They also searched the couple's house Wednesday night, looking for links to other crimes, including a bank robbery in Middlebury on Monday.
They are also trying to find the kidnapped Donovan.
"We are aggressively trying to locate that woman," Fuentes said.
The FBI found a blue BMW believed to belong to Donovan in a field north of Goshen on Wednesday night. Police think Fulks took it during the kidnapping.
Fuentes said prosecutors are seeking search warrants for the BMW, the Beretta and the Elkhart County home of a friend of Fulks.
It is unclear how long Fulks had been in Goshen. A neighbor said he first saw a man matching his description at the Oakridge Avenue house Tuesday night.
Although Fulks was born in West Virginia, he has lived in and around Goshen in recent years. He and his brother both have addresses listed in Shipshewana and Bristol on court documents. An FBI agent said Fulks' father also lives in the area
As recently as May, Fulks was arrested on a charge of resisting law enforcement in Elkhart County and a warrant was issued when he missed a June court appearance. More recently, he was living in southern Kentucky.
Fuentes said authorities thought Fulks might come home.
"We watch family and friends," he said. "We thought they may try to go to someone who would provide assistance, a safe haven."
So they started watching the house. Gary Ritter, who lives two doors from Fulks' brother's house, said he saw Goshen police drive up this morning and take two teenagers away.
Fuentes declined to comment on that.
After the arrest, police tape went up in the yard and plainclothes detectives parked outside. Prosecutors spent all afternoon preparing a search warrant, and crime scene crews entered the house around 6 p.m. They left about 90 minutes later.
As word spread around the neighborhood of just who had spent the night there, onlookers arrived, curious.
This isn't the sort of thing that happens every day around Goshen, Ritter said.
"It's pretty freaky to me," he said. "It's weird, that's for sure."

Actually, I greatly appreciate it.. I've gleaned lots of little info from them and don't have time to run around the web looking this morning.. I have some clients getting a bit irritated with me... :-/

I hear you.
Then let me give you the important stuff from the article I posted last:

They need a search party on the ground doing a grid search of that 17.27 mi area. Actually... If you have info to support this I'd love to see it... Firstly I'd love to know if you can back up the sighting of Alice at any ATM (that would be so important)... The Shallotte ATM was at an Amoco station and my understanding was that Alice was NOT seen on the tape... though I had to leave yesterday and never did get to see it.
The second thing I'd love to know if you can point me to it is that Bolivia was between 5:30-6pm... The info I received was that Bolivia was 4:30p and Little River ATM (sans Alice) was at 6pm...
Shallotte to Bolivia is SUPPOSED to be one of the big search areas... but noone will allow us to help so who knows...
To: alexandria
They're both on 17.... which is the only straight 4 lane road in the area... I've been on it many a time... lots of woods too...
The thing is... they went all the way to Bolivia that day (which is getting rather close to Wilmington) and THEN went BACK to SC... Little River is in the northern area of SC... and from what I understand NOT a very nice area...
I don't get why these guys were doubling back so much... :(
To: alexandria
What was the time stamp on the "Bolivia ATM" film? I have never been able to figure out WHAT happened in Bolivia.... I thought the ATM film was in Shallotte (and was ACTUALLY gas station film)?
To: TankGurrrl
The report says they got money out in the Raleigh/Durham area ATM. But that they tried and failed to get cash out other places because of a wrong PIN. Why would that not mean that they might have had Alice with them in the Raleigh Durham area to give them the right PIN number but then later did not have her with them. Is there any chance she is in the Raleigh Durham area? I hope they are covering all possibilities. ANd the prayers continue.
To: CFW
I LOVE that idea... Thinking now...
