[history]
Had Winston Churchill been alive in the months subsequent to Sept. 11 he might well have described U.S. intelligence agencies' performance prior to the attack thusly: Never have so many known so much and done so little.
On Wednesday, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) will begin awarding contracts for the design and implementation of a Total Information Awareness (TIA) system.

I just heard about this on Glenn Beck's show. Sounds creepy to me.

That logo is just disturbing. (As is this program).

Wow, 2 minutes to reply.
What'd you think of the article and the links?
Is this something that we should be worried about now? Sometime in the future? Never?

The logo is disturbing to me too.
If you click on the link to the IAO's homepage you can see the different programs they have. One of them they named "Babylon".
I don't know who is charge of naming stuff and coming up with logos, but you'd think they were intentionally trying to set people off.

BTW what do you think of Glenn's show? Personally I love it. A great mix of entertainment and info. I think he's got some promise for the future.

The proposed bill would expand DARPA's capacity but as I understand, a warrent would still be required to gather private info.
As for worrying, I say never stop worrying and always be aware for if we let down our guard now or in the future things could change not for the better.

The first couple times I listened to Beck's show I didn't like him.
However, I found him again on Election day and have been listening to him since. I wouldn't be surprised to see him on more than 400-500 stations in the next couple of years.

I'm kind of wondering why we haven't heard about this in the news. It can't be THAT well hidden, after all, I found it and was able to post it.
Is this something we can count on the Republicans getting rid of?................BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Is this a done deal?

what is the deal with the eye on top of the pyramid? does it have any symbolic meaning?
To: HEY4QDEMS
Oracle? ... Enlighten, please!
To: Highest Authority
they make database software....
To: goldylight
I don't know the deal on that symbol. It is on the back of our one dollar bill with some latin words that mean "New World Order."
I have heard some people say it is the symbol of the Illuminati, or the Masons. The weirdest one I heard today was on Glenn Beck's show when he said the eye represented the Babylonian god Baal(sp?).
I couldn't tell you what it actually means.
