All-day parking in downtown DC -- $12.

One (1) Radio Shack bullhorn -- $29.95.

Learning that Gore and family are still whining and lying about the protests two years later...

Priceless.

"Priceless" ROFL, Interesting Time's Mastercard riff is priceless too!

Angelwood -- I didn't go to the VP's house back then. But I remember pleading with my boyfriend that we should go and join them. I was too chicken to go on my own then. But I remember hearing a news report that Al Gore was upset becaue the "get out of Cheney's house" chanting was making his daughters upset. And my boyfriend rightfully told the TV: "That line might work if his daughters were 10. But they're grown-up political operatives."

Now this grown-up political operative claims that the union people didn't come because as they tried to get the lefties out, Al Gore stopped them. Wait. Stop. I thought the Gore daughters were supposedly distraught and reducted to tears at the time. So it's not just Al Gore who is a mystery to me. Now I realize I don't really know the Al Gore daughters. Are they savvy political operatives who remember it all like yesterday and were swinging into action at the time? Or are they teary-eyed victims who were collapsing in distraught? It's sooooo confusing.
