Why, what investments do Bush et al. have in Iraq? If anything, they, or their coterie, have interests in the Gulf and Azerbaijan. Therefore, they should continue sanctions and the status quo to enhance their profits.

Therefore, they should continue sanctions and the status quo to enhance their profits.

Marcy Kaptur and her liberal partners in stupidity don't understand basic economics. They may be thinking the the price of oil will rise during wartime, but they're not thinking what comes later. If there is peace in the Middle East eventually, the price of oil will go DOWN because there won't be sproadic shortages because of instability. And eventually, we'll be getting oil from more places than the Middle East, so the vaunted 'Bush family oil profits' will diminish as well.

These people are just twits of the highest order. They don't understand economics and continue to spout their nonsense. Unfortunately, most in this country don't have that great a grasp on economics so it is hard for the average person NOT to understand that the Democrats are lying to them. They haven't learned the basic lesson about how to tell when Democrats are lying; when their lips are moving!
