That's why you should have tried to meet him *before* he got the official nomination -- less Secret Service around him then. :D
Hell, I was surprised that I was able to just sneak in there and get that close to him. I was half-expecting his Texas Rangers (or whoever was guarding him back then) to block me or something, but they were all kind of chuckling and just closely watching.

Thanks, glad you liked it. If you want to do stuff like that, just get PhotoShop. I love that program, I even dream in PhotoShop.

Exactly, NYC! There is only one "object" of the President's affection......his beautiful wife......and he works hard in public keeping that affection fit for public consumption, as well he should.
The thing about that Tipper mauling is that it was so obviously to try to get women's votes......unfortunately it worked with some idiot soccer suckers. That was one of the points in history where I considered giving up the women's right to vote to make sure that Bush got elected! There just aren't enough smart women like us in this country!
The tide has turned now, though. Those same non-thinking women will vote for Bush now, because they know he'll take care of them. (I can't wait to find out what percentage of the women's vote he gets in 2004!)

I agree that the TOON needed a father to help him become a man, but....not to be disagreeable, because I know you agree.....A WHOLE LOT of boys grow up without a father and don't turn into EVIL, AMORAL CREEPS!
I have no pity for him. He made the choice to be rotten and self-centered all by his little self, and he made the adolescent choice to put 'it' where it doesn't belong, all by his little, crooked self.
Makes the MAN in the White House look even better.

I'm not sure what the sign is, and I have no idea if there's a picture of W giving the sign........can you describe it?
To: Darlin'
This one is an hour longer, and has much more stuff in it. I taped it at midnight, and just checked to make sure I got it all..........I did!
Mr. Ohio and I will watch it tonight!

One of my favorites:
"Led in prayer by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, right, President Bush joins his cabinet in bowing their heads before beginning their meeting on Sept. 14." (Eric Draper - The White House)

Exactly, NYC! There is only one "object" of the President's affection......his beautiful wife......and he works hard in public keeping that affection fit for public consumption, as well he should. We can only imagine what goes on in private there. ;) But at least they obviously seem to be very much in love and not committing adultery in the Oval Office. They really have brought back a great deal of dignity and respect to the White House. Lewd snickers about the Oval Office, etc., have really become a thing of the past, thanks to this President and First LADY.
The thing about that Tipper mauling is that it was so obviously to try to get women's votes......unfortunately it worked with some idiot soccer suckers. That was one of the points in history where I considered giving up the women's right to vote to make sure that Bush got elected! There just aren't enough smart women like us in this country!
I thought that staged tongue-wrestling match was more about trying to con us into believing that he's human and "cool" and all that bullclinton.
The tide has turned now, though. Those same non-thinking women will vote for Bush now, because they know he'll take care of them. (I can't wait to find out what percentage of the women's vote he gets in 2004!)
I'm honestly surprised that he didn't get more in '00.

I agree that the TOON needed a father to help him become a man, but....not to be disagreeable, because I know you agree.....A WHOLE LOT of boys grow up without a father and don't turn into EVIL, AMORAL CREEPS!Definitely! But I think what makes the difference for all those other boys who grow up without a father to be fine, dignified men is that they have strong, moral mothers who discipline them when necessary and don't over-coddle them.
Without knowing *too* much about the sinkmaster's upbringing, my hunch is that he was rarely punished or even scolded.
