Thanks for posting the FR Finest thread, daisy!
John, thanks for holding forth with your "two cents' worth" column.
I enjoy your witticisms and criticisms; you outwrite a LOT of syndicated columnists.
Thanks also for posting news articles at length and in quantity. Information is power!

Good piece JH2, hits the nail on the head.
The war resolution "does not have the minimum of fairness, objectivity and balance," he lividly told fellow lawmakers in a bitter, blistering speech, adding that Bush's take-no-prisoners approach 'flagrantly ignores' painstaking progress achieved with Iraq "in past years."
Amazing to me how the UN Security Council, (unanimously I might add), doesn't believe there has been painstaking progress achieved with Iraq but some of our own "elected" officials want to side with some of the wishy-washy Euros on this one.

Daisy, thank you for finding some illustrations and posting John's Essay again. Just love having one of your essays debut here every week, John!
Nan, thank you for finding those SIX cute owls - it seemed only fitting to put the Saint Louie) up there, since he and the King (John) have such fun ribbing each other. :)
