I'd bet that most of us know this. We also know that there is no end in this spiral to oblivion. This country is doomed. If you think I am wrong, look at the content on tv. Ask an 18 year old kid the title of the last book he read. Better than that, ask the kid who the President of the United States is. Odds are, you'll get the "deer in the headlights" expression. "Huh? we gotta prezedent? Wazzup wid dat?"

When someone calls me a Yankee, I thank them for the compliment. Where I come from, the term Yankee, means resourceful, self sufficient, stubborn (in a good way), conservative in dress and mannerisms and above all, a Yankees best attribute is his / her dry, understated, sarcastic sense of humour.
Mailman to home owner: Does your dog bite?
Home owner to mailman: Nope.
Mailman to homeowner after prying dogs teeth from leg: I thought you said your dog doesn't bite!
Homeowner to mailman: It's not my dog.

.............. Immigration is stripping Americans of their civil rights and their national identity. Some Americans, not yet aware of their perilous position, still wave the patriotic flag. But neoconservatives set on conquest of the Middle East had best reassess the fighting stamina of a people whose civil rights and national identity are under full-scale assault at home............... Anybody on Capitol Hill listening, Bump?

A different view was expressed by Cato Institute libertarians. Steve Moore argued that immigration is a form of reverse foreign aid that invigorates the U.S. with "new blood." Libertarians also see open borders as a freedom issue and value unrestricted immigration as a rare example of minimal government. This argument is taken out of context. A policy of open borders is, in today's welfare state, a lunatic's path to suicide. The author, through omission, has done a neat job of making the Libertarian position ridiculous.
But such lies aren't becoming.

This article represents the best treatment of the crux of the matter I've seen. We're losing our country, while the pro open borders pollyannas spout meaningless shibboleths & empty slogans.
