Vice President Dick Cheney will be the lead-off speaker at the 30th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) according to announcement today by CPAC Chairman David Keene.
Cheney's address will kick off the Conference at noon on January 30, Keene said.
"Vice President Cheney has always been one of the most warmly received speakers at CPAC throughout the years," Keene said. "We are honored to, once again, welcome this great conservative back to the conference's 30th anniversary."
In addition to the daily speeches and informative panels with prominent conservative grassroots leaders and Members of Congress, Keene said conference highlights include the Thursday evening Presidential Banquet and the Friday evening Ronald Reagan Banquet.
CPAC is a project of the American Conservative Union Foundation which Keene chairs, in association with Young America's Foundation and Human Events. The conference is co-sponsored by NewsMax.com and over 70 of the nation's other leading conservative organizations.
The conference will be held from January 30th through February 1st, 2003 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.
