I don't foresee these Homeland Security employees being hired and fired at will. The details haven't yet been worked out. Let's wait and see as the two sides come to agreement. The President will get some of what he wants, and the Dems will get some protections for federal workers, althought I believe Mr. Bush will get MORE provisions than the Dems.

I forsee them being fired promptly if warranted.

"121"

Do you want to bet that will Be Pilosi's vote total.

The makeup of the house should be 314-121.

I guess I must be the only person left who still finds the term "homeland" too darn teutonic.

In such a vital department the supervisors need to have more power to fire and hire employees based on efficency, productivity, and simply watching that these employees are committed to the protection of our union.

No, I'm another. Unfortunately, the flag-wavers on this board havent got a clue and dont plan to get one.

The central planners that provide the "Ya Gotta See This" propoganda have to be laughing their butts off right now.

Daschle said he believed Bush and the GOP played politics with the bill.

Note to Dash-hole. Do us a favor you communist slimpit, move to Cuba and kiss Castro's fat commie butt. You anti-American, American hating, communist pig face, puke faced, tiny runt butt, Kennedy butt kissing, dork.
