In my opinion, the fact that there was a videotape of a second man with McVeigh in the Ryder truck is significant. It means that there is a man that participated in the mass murder of 168 innocent people who is free to repeat his crime. Even more importantly, no one in law enforcement is looking for him.
As citizens, do we have a right to expect an explanation from our elected represenatives as to why our law enforcement officials are not interested in prosecuting the man in the Ryder truck with McVeigh?

There is no record of this Associated Press news article in either archives of the two major newspapers in Oklahoma, The Daily Oklahoman or Tulsa World. Until I go through copies of the newspapers from the last week in October 1995, I am not prepared to say this article never appeared in print in those papers.
Considering the reporter that wrote the article was in Oklahoma City and has impeccable credentials, I am surprised it is not in the archives for the Daily Oklahoman or Tusa World. I will be even more surprised if it never made it in the print version of the newspapers.
So far, I know the article appeared in the Baton Rouge Advocate and the Chicago Tribune.

Is it John Doe or Mohammed Doe?

Hey guys, so far the sourcing and research that went into this post look to be high-quality.
I don't follow the OKC stuff very closely, but I do know this: One man cannot mix that much ANFO by himself. When I was a lad of modest means, I worked as a groundskeeper, and just moving that much material on and off a truck (no dock or lift-gate) is a lot of work! Have you ever tried to mix a drumful of anything? Buy a 25# bag of flour and a crate of eggs and try making pancake batter out of it, without a food-service sized mixer. For most people, hand-mixing one wheelbarrow load of cement is tough. There are probably Joe Does #3 and #4 out there too, just for the manpower for making the bomb.

Is this the tape that Jayna Davis says exists, but has not been found?

Thanks for keeping a data base of URL's on this. Do you save the threads on your hard drive, too? (Threads DO have a way of disappearing around here.) If this is needed and somebody lets me know, I'll do it. However, I am sure the guys have already seen to this.

True enough, I believe in the WTC bombing, it was several people involved in the mixing.

Is this the tape that Jayna Davis says exists, but has not been found? There were numerous surveillance tapes that were confiscated by the FBI that substaniated the eyewitness testimony stating that there was another man with McVeigh in OKC on the morning of April 19th. These tapes have been intentionally withheld from the public by the FBI. They were not shown to the Federal Grand Jury or at the trial. In fact, the prosecution did not present at trial a single eyewitness that placed McVeigh in OKC on the morning of the bombing, even though there were many witnesses that saw McVeigh that morning. Some picked him out of a line up.
The problem was that each eyewitness that saw McVeigh saw him with another man, John Doe 2, and so the prosecution did not present the eyewitnesses at trial or the videotapes showing McVeigh at the Murrah Building with John Doe 2.

When I compose a post like that, I do it in a notepad or wordpad file, so all the data at the beginning ( before any replies accumulate ) is saved, and I keep a backup on a floppy- too many HD crashes around here to regard it as safe. I have not, however, saved the later replies, which usually shed much more light on a subject.
