All,
KLT's son Jesse was operated on yesterday. I have not heard anything since before the operation. This is bad.
I have tried contacting KLT to no avail. I sincerely pray that she just forgot to call and everything is ok.
Am really worried now.... original thread

Thanks for the "original" link. I will go there and bump it. I will try to ping a lot of people, or ask people with big Ping lists to do so.
This sounds like a HUGE surgery.. I'm sure they are with him at the hospital pretty much all day..and then dropping when they get home from exhaustion.
Sending prayers!!! Vets

I am so sorry to hear about this news! What happened to her son? My thoughts and prayers are with them both.

I'm sure she was too physically & emotionally exhausted to get online. Probably everything went fine- as fine as major surgery can be.

Okay, 'Pod, thanks for the info I needed.
I called Mt. Sinai. They absolutely would not give patient condition info over the phone :-(, but said I could call his ROOM :-), and gave me the phone number.
That's promising, isn't it?
I hesitate to really call, though; don't want to disturb any of them, since I don't know how the surgery went.

On the way. If you talk to her, please tell her my thoughts will be with her during the coming days.

KLT's son has had ulcerative colitis for two years and was supposed to have an 8-to-12-hour surgery yesterday. Sauropod and I had both left messages for her (so she could contact us), but neither of us have heard anything since
Monday.
So we decided it was high time to panic.

will pray ...
