In response to several comments and questions about Cob - I'd like to say a few things. First of all, with his permission, I am posting his email address and he welcomes any friends who wish to keep in contact with him. cob1@addr.com

As several of his friends here know, he left, not because of any one person, but because of his convictions, and he has taken quite a few attacks for this. I would have thought that more of his friends would have told him that even if they didn't support his feelings, they respected his stance. Unfortunately, I think this has not been the case. I hope that those who have considered him to be a good friend will realize that friends don't always have to agree, but they need to let their friends know that in the grand scheme of things, petty differences mean nothing. And if I know Cob, and I believe I do, he is man enough to make an apology, as well as accept one.

I really hope his friends will see this....... and if you are a friend of his and know someone who would care, please share this with them.

In this world, a friend is too valuable to lose over something no one will even remember in a few weeks or months.......

COB’s problem is that he holds friendship and honour close, and being a far better Christian than I, forgiveness when asked, comes easy to him. He does however have a low tolerance for BS. I communicated with him by email moments after I found out that he had left.

God Bless him, too bad more aren’t like him.
