In addition the Holy Book of said religion does not condone molestation.. whereas Islam says it's ok for the fifty something year old Mohammed to marry a 6 yr old girl and consummate the marriage when she was 9.

Actually as Christians there was a period where there wasn't evil. That was before Adam and Eve chose to disobey and break fellowship with their Creator.

I wasn't aware that God regretted making us.

Then stuartcr, if you aren't even familiar with one of the most well-known stories in the Bible, how can you be informed enough to reject Christianity?

I really doubt that I will ask them this because I don't believe it's any of my business, and besides, I don't care. I have no desire to read up on Islam. All I have been saying this entire thread, is that I don't believe that all the Muslims want to eradicate non-believers from the earth. The ones I know don't, and I will leave it at that. Of course, I've been told that the ones I know, since they don't want to kill us, are not really Muslims, so all I can figure, is that there are a lot of people in the world that call themselves Muslims, but according to some freepers, they aren't, so I'll leave it at that.

So what should I call those that say they are Muslims, but do not adhere to the belief that they should take over the world, and eradicate all non-believers?

How about "wimpy Muslims"?

OK, but I've since learned that the people that I thought, and they themselves thought, aren't really Muslims, which makes all this discussion moot.

Yes he did. But He also knew that some of us would decide *for* him - and it is because of that that he proceeded with his plan.

I don't reject it, I just don't believe it. Just like I don't believe any of the other man-made religions. I just believe in God.

I know this by faith. But evidence does corroborate the Bible.
