I completely agree with you. The poor, innocent kitten didn't deserve this torture and I really feel for the innocent child who witnessed this barbaric act.
After reading stories like this, I only pray that these barbarians get their due. Hopefully tenfold to the pain and suffering they caused.

"I don't care about the kitten" was too strong, I admit. Pookie Me did a much better job of articulating my reaction to the article.

If the S.O.B. had tortured and killed a kitten in front of an adult I would have no problem with prosecuting him for animial cruelty. In this case, what he did to the kitten pales in comparison to what he did to the little girl. The little girl is, by the way, a sentient being and I care about her a lot more than I care about any kitten.

He should have been prosecuted for child abuse and for threatening the life of the child. Hopefully, word will get out regarding the nature of his offense in whatever jail he gets sent to and he will spend his 30 days in jail getting daily beatings and worse.

I care about both the child and the kitten. The man is just beyond reproach. Not only has he traumatized this child (the effects could last for years), but also killed another living creature- probably an animal the child loved, in front of her. He subjected the child to threats and intimidation, kills an animal in front of a child while drunk, and all he gets is anger management????? Sick and wrong. It's a sad, sad world.
