Whwn President Bush was a candidate, I wrote this as his agenda:

Fix country.
Go fishin'.

I was joking, but I really think that is how he thinks.

I have taken a lot of flack from people who think I am nothing but a Bush groupie. I was happy to take the flack, and will be happy to continue to do so.

The fact of the matter is that back when he was first a candidate I and many others saw something in him more than just a candidate. We were right, and those who thought he wa an empty-suit, frat-boy RINO were just plain wrong.

I firmly believe he will be listed as one of the greatest presidents in history. May God continue to bless him and his family.

Nailed. Signed, sealed and delivered.

Funny how the best answers are always the shortest. Our President would like this summation of his agenda, no doubt it would bring a smile to that good face.

Wish I knew a way to get get it in front of him.

And would love to see this somewhere on our main page.

You know, Miss Marple.....most of the people who were laughing at us when we said this was a possibility almost two years ago are no longer laughing.

Those who are, are blind.

You should add
Go for morning run
and
Kiss my wife.

Thanking the Almighty is a given, since he already seems to do such.

I've made the mistake of projecting my impatience on GWB, he took too long to attack the Taliban, he was soft on Daschle and his opponents, he needn't ask UN permission for anything, He won't bash Clinton. Sheesh, I'm glad he's president and not me. He consistently gets what he wants without raising his voice, and he plays it all like a chess game on a porch.

I have a client like our president: slow drawl, measured words, small town air... his industry under-estimates him constantly, and constantly he wins.

It taught me to be wary, 'cuz the "country bumpkin" is often the smartest guy in the room

Nice post Miss Marple.

This has been one awesome week down here in Georgia- for America, for Georgia, and for President Bush!

I hope that President Bush pushes for his programs a bit harder now that he has the wind in his sail!

Remember the title of the book he wrote before his election campaign -

A Charge to Keep

I believe that this is how he approaches his work for America. It is not 'about him.' It is about the future of a free world.

Indeed you were! Especially when all of "our conservative pundits" were hammering President Bush......hear that Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Steyn, Sean Hannity.....Billy Kristol......and the list goes on and on. It's about time they step up and admit they were wrong, I am happy that Mark Steyn has done so.......

And the fish he'll hook will be called Legacy--the prize which will elude Bill Clinton and his chums despite their having turned the White House into the Offal Office!

The fact of the matter is that back when he was first a candidate I and many others saw something in him more than just a candidate

Only time I have campaigned for someone by telling people that the candidate had the potential to be a great President. I was lucky to learn about him early from my brother who lives in Texas.

The more I learned about him, the more I believed he was going to be touched by destiny.

Like you, my husband and I knew there were a lot of dangerous Clinton chickens that were going to come home to roost. And great Presidents are those who grasp a great dilemma and solve it, and don't pass the buck to the next President.

Buchanan faced the same problems that Lincoln did. But Buchanan passed the buck, and Lincoln is remembered as one of our great Presidents, even though our Civil War was the worst time in our history.
