If you listen carefully, I mentioned I also heard this from someone close to Pataki. The fact it is also being written about, somewhat validates it. I just didn't make it up out of the blue.

This is ludicrous. Pataki, bless him - he inspired me to vote third party for Gubner (calm down - if the race was close I would have voted for him).

Bush wins a mandate that stressed the most conservative candidates, and he picks Pataki. Good grief. Some will believe anything.
