Even if all that were true, Keillor would be kissing the guys cheeks if he caucused with the Democrat party.

P.S. Hey Garrison: I listen to your show, but I never pledge any money. Neener, neener, neener.

It's OK...right-wing Christians are a forgiving lot.

If the article had solid evidence that Rove and Coleman were both socialist stooges, then maybe I'd get uptight.

Until then, I'll judge Coleman on his actions forthcoming.

If I might have ever been interested in anything Garrison Keillor had to say, this has cured me of it. Thanks Garrison!

The guy is a Brooklyn boy who became a left-wing student radical at Hofstra University with hair down to his shoulders, organized antiwar marches, said vile things about Richard Nixon, etc

Wasn't it Churchill who said, (paraphrasing a bit here) "Show me a man younger than 25 who is not a liberal, and I'll show you a man with no heart. Show me a man that is older that 35 that is not a Conservative, and I'll show you a man with no brains".

Norm, you are forgiven. We are glad yo came to your senses!

"Call me nostalgic, but wasn't it nice to see Walter Mondale come out for one last ass-whipping?"

Yep. Amazing he didn't write this back when Coleman was a democrat.

Keillor, IMHO, is still smarting that Rush Limbaugh has surpassed him in listenership and influence. He wasn't even a big enough deal in his own backyard to prevent the election of Ventura.

"To choose Coleman over Walter Mondale is one of those dumb low-rent mistakes, like going to a great steakhouse and ordering the tuna sandwich."

I guess that sums up what Garrison Keillor thinks of the people of Minnesota. I wonder how they feel about being insulted by him ?

Don't know, but,I'm sure Garrison has claimed "its his private life" about others with "family situations".

"Garrison Keillor is the creator and host of the nationally syndicated radio show "A Prairie Home Companion".

He trashed Lutherans way too many times making Christianity and the stock of people I came from in Northwestern WI (almost in MN) a joke and a byword.
I stopped listening to his crap.

Our Public Radio station and the PBS TV station are spending more time having fund raisers that are not bringing in the funds than showing programs.
I think their writing is on the wall.

The Democrats stood up in raw grief and yelled and shook their fists and offended people

Garrison doesn't write all that well when he is sobbing in his hanky.

The terrible thought is that Garrison Keeler is Minnesota's idea of a man.

I went to Minnesota once to work. My Dad told me the good news was that Minnesota was home to some of the most feminine women in the world. The Bad news was it is home to the most feminine men in the world too.

Garrison and Walter prove Daddy was right.

Everyone knows that his family situation is, shall we say, very interesting, but nobody bothered to ask about it...

Disgusting innuendo. Be a man "Garrison", and tell us. I'm ashamed to admit I enjoy APHC.

The Democrats stood up in raw grief and yelled and shook their fists and offended people. Norm played his violin. He sorrowed well in public..."

Oh, is that what it was - raw grief? Those DemonRATS just exuded "raw grief" while ordering mustard and relish on their hot dogs at the concession stands.
