"he can show just cause he can get his recounts COUNTY by COUNTY - but he can NEVER get a statewide recount."

I heard on the Mobile radio this afternoon that there have been nor were there any complaints of 'wrong-doings' filed anywhere in the whole state.

Some of this amounts to asking how many lawyers can dance on the head of a pin. So there's no provision for a statewide recount. There obviously is a provision for a recount in any county, if appropriate charges and claims have been raised.

If that can be done 67 times, in each of Alabama's couties, then the result is, whether it is called that or not, a "statewide" recount.

The problem here obviously is that the current Governor doesn't have sufficient facts to allege to get a recount even in Baldwin County itself.

Looks like the Alabama Governor goes in the Republican column. Somebody tell CNN that their reporting on this race is dead wrong.

That night when Siegelman made such an arse out of himself I was furious. He made some very lame jokes about some people makings some very bad investments when Bush came down here and did photoshot for 50,000 a pop. It was a slap in the president's face big time.

Then Riley came on and was so smooth, calming and God fearingly in control. It took my anger away. He was in command. We had a great call to arms of Republican poll watchers this year, especially since Singleplan Lottery man killed the voter id programs.

Now we need to get rid of the most crooked politician in Alabama.... Head Democrat Lowell Barron (makes me ashamed of my user name here on FR).
