silly notions of 'sending a message'

So who is sillier, those who send the message or those who pay the price for not heeding the message?

Maybe if you Republicans sent more messages to your candidates others wouldn't have to.

Maybe if your party addressed the concerns of those who voted for other candidates, they wouldn't have a reason to vote for other candidates and send messages.

We send messages to the party, incumbents, and candidates all the time. That's the advantage of having a roadworthy vehicle to drive in on the political highway, instead of a skateboard.
