I know this is easier said than done, but if you ever find yourself in this situation, it's better to try to fight off the perpetrator by hitting him upside his nose, poking his eyes, etc. Once you drive somewhere with a carjacker, he will probably kill you, because now it becomes kidnapping, and he has a better chance with you dead.

Yes, you are right. I've often heard by experts on talk shows,like Bo Dietel and John Walsh, who state that a victim should never go or leave with the perp. onto his Turf. Fight now and there or pay later.

Yes that is true, and it applies to more than car jacking. It could be a young hitch-hiker picked up by the wrong people.
I believe it is called crime scene one and crime scene two.
Your odds are better fighting for your life at crime scene one, where he has less control.
