This is a great article on what the Clintons have wrought. People are finally seeing the light. It's only taken 10 long years but damn it feels good.

This tells it like it is but don't worry, a Clinton will be running for some national office in 2004!

THEY ONCE WORSHIPPED THE TWO AS SAVIORS AND DEMIGODS. But in the chilly dawn that followed Tuesday’s crushing election defeats, Democrats have begun to open their eyes to the devil’s bargain they made with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

We all knew it 10 years ago, and because of it, the vast right wing conspiracy was born. The dems deserve whatever they get. Our country has suffered and it'll take time to get it back to where it belongs, but the clintons have proved us all correct. Too bad it cost the country so much. What goes around, comes around.

Has hillary made any comments on Tuesday's election? She seems to be keeping a low profile.

Don't count the Clintons out. The Democrat Party now lies in shambles, and the Clintons are just the ones to emerge as saviors and pull it all together again. Such types often emerge as messianic patriots at times of political chaos.

Slick Willy’s magic wand had lost its potency, however. . .

Maybe he should talk with Bob Dole about that.

Several interesting points here:

(a) The Rats have learned to run on "tactics and mechanics" rather than principles and beliefs. Why? Because their principles have moved further and further into the sewer of gay rights, anti-Americanism, socialism, racebaiting, and general immorality. In truth, the Rats can count only on electioneering mechanics (get out the vote, absentee ballots, court battles) to get their way. They no longer inspire the American people. How could they?

(b) Maryland elected Michael S. Steele - a black Republican - as lieutenant governor. This will hopefully get Maryland blacks to begin rethinking their lockstep association with the Rat party. Acquaintances who've met Steele say that he's a good man and right for the role of Lt. Gov. Surely the black community must be realizing that Republicans don't choose "token blacks" for leadership roles, and that there is room for all people in the Republican party.

(c) I don't agree with the article premise that the Clintons have been upbraided by this election. McAuliffe, Daschle, and Gephardt are soon to be gone, and the Clintons will be moving in with their selected lackeys to take complete control of the Rat party (McAuliffe will discarded, just like Reno and Cuomo). Just look at DU, everyone there is blaming the Rat "establishment" but it is not the Clintons they are blaming (in fact many calls for Hitlery to take a leadership role).

Thanks! This article, in a nutshell, zeros in and describes a decade of the Democrat party's demise to a tee. DemocRATS can blame Bill and Hillary the most, but they're the ones who sold their souls.

"But instead, the Clinton Curse on the Democratic Party continues."

There's no 'Clinton Curse' on the Democrats, they embraced him. They gave up what integrity they had to save him. They gave up whatever core beliefs they had to keep him in office. And this was all after Clinton had lost Congress to the pubbies in '94. which happend, because Clinton caused the 'RAT vote to decline and stimulated his opposition to come out.

Labor in '96 and '98 knew that Clinton stabbed them in the back with NAFTA, but they still backed him with a $100 and massive campaign help. Clinton paid off by not enforcing Beck, then again, neither Bush has enforced Beck.

The feminists all donned knee-pads to service Slick. The gave up everything they believed in, they gave up sexual harassment completely. In fact, the promulgated the new 'one free grope' doctrine and attacked the rape victim to protect the rapist. They did this all for the non-existent threat to abortion.

Lani Guinier was the first black stabbed in the back by President Clinton, but wasn't the last. Jocelyn Elders was tossed overboard and Ron Brown is resting in peace. In return, they got Clinton to play the sax on Arsenio. Talk about selling yourself for a mess of pottage.

The point is, they all knew what was happening. They walked into it with eyes wide open. They sold themselves just to keep Bill Clinton personally in office. Personal power for Bill Clinton was Clinton's only goal. Can you betray people, who know what is happening and go along with it?

This election was a result of reality finally catching up to clintonism. Clinton the juggler could keep all the balls up in the air, but only if he is doing the juggling. He turned the juggling over to McAuliffe, who used to be the sad clown and couldn't make the transition to jovial juggler. He became just a mean oaf.

I just wish we could vote on the media. They're totally complicit in keeping the juggling psychopath in power and extended that trick another two years with the 2000 elections.

These next two years are going to be very interesting politically. Will the saner parts of the 'RAT party see that the Republicans aren't the threat that they've be told? Will they wake up and increase the GOP majorities in two years? Will the media ever wake up?

I think GW and Cheney are much much smarter than people realize. Did they orchestrate the supposed nervousness and worry about Jeb in Fla?Therby drawing all of the Dems recources down there....The Iraq debate was also brilliant.....The Democrats demanded that we debate it and Bush held back.....then said lets debate just in time for the elections.....

"Those of you who want socialism...who want higher taxes and bigger government, should have the strength of your conviction. Be authentic. Be true to yourself."

If the Democrats removed their masques they'd be laughed off the political stage into nowheresville, and they know it. For them every day is Hallowe'en, tricks or treats and all, especially masques.

To Democrats/"Liberals" truth and authenticity are whatever you can fool people into thinking. Therefore, as far as they are concerned, in the ways of their distorted morality, they are truthful and authentic.

Some people are seeing the light. But, that does not matter in Clinton's world! There have always been those who knew about clintons faults.

The Democratic base loves bj clinton...and turn a blind eye to anything that he does wrong. They allow him to get away with murder...because they like him.

It would be a mistake to count the clintons out. With the rest of their party in a weakend condition...and powerless...this is their chance to take complete control. This is a dangerous pair. Make no mistake.

The clintons swaggering in to save the day for the dems. are just about over. I believe that very shortly the new buzzword in dem. circles will be a combination of the Triangulation Theory that sustained bill and ruined the traditional dem. platform and the desire to end the clinton hostage seige of their party. Striangulation: The act of strangling the political life out of those who have destroyed what took years to build. Dick Morris and James Carville would do well to watch their own necks, also. They helped to build the monster.

Yesterday (Wednesday) a caller to David Dinkins talk show hit the nail on the head re: the Clinton support for McCall...the caller chastised the Clinton's for campaigning for McCall in black areas only while they should have been taking him to white NY and suburbs. The caller failed though to make the obvious conclusion that the Clintons were not campaigning for McCall but rather they were securing the black vote for themselves....these NYC black voters vote en bloc...they will never wake up.

In Florida Jeb Bush overwhelmingly won not only Anglo and Cuban-American votes, but also 51 percent of all Hispanic votes. The Democrats' installed puppet Bill McBride won 95 percent of black votes, but in a nation where only one in eight people is African-American the Democrats cannot expect to win by bending their whole appeal to this shrinking minority group.

African-Americans for their part are now urgently rethinking whether they want to remain chained to the mast of what is now a sinking Democratic Party ship, increasingly a minority party in a nation where Hispanics allied with the Republican Party are the wave of the present and future.

Blacks are being replaced by Hispanics as the country's largest minority. The black vote still goes lock-step for the Democratic party and Hispanic, Asian and white voters look at Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan and are repulsed.

The most pathetic thing was seeing Bill Clinton inducted as a "Black American" when he hasn't done squat for black Americans. The only blacks in Clinton's Cabinet were jokes like Jocelyn Elders. Bush chose wisely, but still gets no credit for it. Idiots like Harry Belafonte make headlines calling Colin Powell and Condolezza Rice "house slaves". We need a new generation of black leaders and there are signs that it's coming.
