Has hillary made any comments on Tuesday's election? I think I heard her say that this election was "unbecoming". (snicker) fsf

Bill Clinton and some of the people he couldn't help get elected. From left, Shannon O'Brien, Jimmie Lou Fisher, Bill McBride, Kathleen K. Townsend:
Keep up the good work, Blubba! Thanks!

Some people are seeing the light. But, that does not matter in Clinton's world! There have always been those who knew about clintons faults.
The Democratic base loves bj clinton...and turn a blind eye to anything that he does wrong. They allow him to get away with murder...because they like him.
It would be a mistake to count the clintons out. With the rest of their party in a weakend condition...and powerless...this is their chance to take complete control. This is a dangerous pair. Make no mistake.

Sorry, Al, didn't want to leave you out. Thanks for all your efforts, too.

The clintons swaggering in to save the day for the dems. are just about over. I believe that very shortly the new buzzword in dem. circles will be a combination of the Triangulation Theory that sustained bill and ruined the traditional dem. platform and the desire to end the clinton hostage seige of their party. Striangulation: The act of strangling the political life out of those who have destroyed what took years to build. Dick Morris and James Carville would do well to watch their own necks, also. They helped to build the monster.

Here's to hoping more lib/dems will come to their senses....just not their so-called leaders!

"Slick Willys (bent) magic wand had lost its potency, "
95% of blacks voted for McBride. When will they learn. Talk about being owned. 140 years of freedom and they remaim slaves to the Dim party. Go figure.
To: Lee'sGhost
For decades I've heard about how blacks are moving into the Republican ranks. For decades it's never happened.
Some things never change. Unfortunately.

"I think GW and Cheney are much much smarter than people realize."George Bush is extremely intelligent!
Only an extremely brilliant mind could have pulled off what he just pulled off, but that's not the best measure of his intelligence.
Many people--especially adacemics, celebrities, and others of the intelligentsia--make the self-serving and often intentional mistake of confusing intelligence with pedantry, bookishness, and academic achievement, things of little value as a measure of intelligence.
They also tend to mistake dazzling charisma or adept manipulativeness for intelligence.
George Bush could no doubt hold his own against such standards if he so chose, but he is a man of truth and authenticity.
His life and his example reveal his brilliance. These are the only real measure of someone's intelligence.

These next two years are going to be very interesting politically. Will the saner parts of the 'RAT party see that the Republicans aren't the threat that they've be told? Will they wake up and increase the GOP majorities in two years? Will the media ever wake up?I believe that is precisely what has been happening and will continue to happen. The people are beginning to see democrats AND the media for what they are. 9-11 and George Bush's staunch leadership and character provided the epiphany. I also think Hillary will have to move to the right to maintain any viablility and she is incapable of faking it like her chameleon husband.

"Sounds like a plan to me."Me too. And an effective one. Such types often create the chaos, then make sense of it, and emerge as saviors. It's older than history itself.

Yesterday (Wednesday) a caller to David Dinkins talk show hit the nail on the head re: the Clinton support for McCall...the caller chastised the Clinton's for campaigning for McCall in black areas only while they should have been taking him to white NY and suburbs. The caller failed though to make the obvious conclusion that the Clintons were not campaigning for McCall but rather they were securing the black vote for themselves....these NYC black voters vote en bloc...they will never wake up.

The same party that wanted to keep them as slaves back in Lincoln's day. How ironic is that?

Clintons are just the ones to emerge as saviors and pull it all together again I'm assuming that's how they will remain in power in the years ahead. Develop and encourage a flawed memory of the "Clinton golden-years" and then promise its return. Could needing a failed Democratic party to achieve their purpose be the reason they wanted a poor Dem. candidate running against Pataki?

I'd like to hear more; maybe I just don't understand. I do see blacks moving in Republican circles: Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Michael Steele. So obviously this is not what you mean. I think it's critical that the Republican party includes everyone who shares their values. What would you like to see?

What I mean, simply, is that the overwhelming number of blacks vote for Democrats. It's been that way since Franklin Roosevelt's time and I see little basis for hope that it will change.
