I picture McAuliffe opening a box...a box from the Democratic "Leadership"...and it's a dozen dried-out, dead roses.

Howlin, did he repeat again the second time giving this speech that the senate was 50-50? I could not even believe he said it the first time!

I KNEW IT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I KNEW IT............I knew sooner or later somebody would say that if Paul Wellstone hadn't died they would have won!
And Id didn't hear the first part of THIS speech..but I did hear him say 50/50 this morning!

The Clinton/McAuliffe team is the equivalent of the ugly chick one might wake up in bed with, while nursing a skull-splitting hangover.
To: swheats
Terry just said that if it wasn't for the tragic death of Wellstone things would have turned out different
That's right Terry .. blame the dead guy after you danced on his grave

Remember this morning that when he said 52 percent of the people woke up with a Democratic represenative today.....well, he did raise that to 55 percent in this speech! :-)

Thanks for the update. It reads an awful lot like Ari's press conference today. Same even tone and graciousness.

Marc is SO GOOD....he's clipping Terry.

"he was stating, live, this mid-morning that it was 50-50. Unbelievable."
Not really when you factor in that he still thought that he was going to be able to pull off his fraudulent schemes and those "misplaced" ballot boxes were going to show up.

Terry McAuliffe: "God works in mysterious ways" and that is why the Rats lost the senate.
I'm with Terry on that one.
To: Howlin
Did Terry just threaten that the Senate Dems will insist on 60 vote supermajorities to pass stuff out of the Senate?
Sure sounded like it to me!
To: Howlin
Mrc is doing really good .. not taking Terry's crap and stating FACTS

the grin on Racicot's face was priceless! So was Bill's comment that Raciot got all 8 minutes of the segment, rather than the 4 he would have gotten if he'd had to share time with McWhiner.

55 percent of the country woke up today with a Democratic representative? What's he smoking? 2 Things come to mind.
1. Due to redistricting to keep incumbents safe, Tom DeLay will be Speaker of the House for about 10 years.
2. They still don't get that whole Electoral College thing.

I loved the empty chair on the O'Reilly show. I seldom watch him but just happened upon it that night. Racicot is such a good spokesman for the GOP!

I didn't hear that, doing other stuff, but maybe somebody else did.
And somebody needs to tell him that they are NOT in any position to INSIST on anything.
