They have missed it again. I have read many articles pointing out what caused the Democrats to lose the election. It is not that any of the reasons given are wrong, on the contrary they all have a little bit of truth in them. It is the fact that they are not willing to realize it was for all of the reasons. The American peoplk have been saving stamps for the last 8 years, and they finally filled their book.

It was the Democrats willingness to act like an abused wife that keeps going back to her husband no matter how badly she has been beaten.

It was the fact that the Democrats were not willing to grow up along with Americans after 9-11.

It was the fact that President Bush not only had a clear vision for America, he didn;t have a hidden agenda. In two short years they learned that they could trust and respect him. That he didn't lie, cheat and steal in order to win in the market place of ideas.

They learned that he could lead. He wasn't the Hollywood bad boy that everyone loves despite of themselves. He was the Hollywood hero. The good guy in the white hat.

They learned that the Democratic leadership were empty suits void of ideas and principles. Without a victim to protect and make excuses for, without a villian that they could attack; they didn't have any ideas, or core values.

When America watched the Wellstone memorial, it all came together, a visual graphic image for all America to see. A bunch of angry kean-spirited third rate con-artists caught on screen acting in public as they have acted in private.

Anericans realize now, that they can no longer overlook, make excuses or trivialize the Democrats behavior, anymore than a parent can blame their child's troubles on the child's frienda.

Americans are not stupid like the Democrats have believed, they are just incredibly slow to anger.

We can thank Clinton for electing the first Republican Governor in Hawaii in 40 years.

Don Clegg, a pollster and political consultant who worked for the Dems this year said his polling showed dem Hirono with a slight lead on Thursday, 11/1 the day of Clinton's swing through Hawaii (3 islands). On Friday and Saturday, 11/2 and 11/3, the undecided and independant voters suddenly swung to Lingle and Hirono was trailing by 10 points!
