Man, the Dems are in SEVERE denial. They're starting the spin. Here are their points. Take note, they'll all be saying it.
1. Republicans outspent them
2. Special Interests targeted them (big drugs)
3. The Dems had to defend themselves in Republican strongholds.
etc etc etc. They're in denial and it will make them lose more elections so I hope they keep it up. They've learned nothing.

Thune has me whistling a happy tune.
-another depressed IL FReeper, forced to watch the Chicago Machine grind up the state. But nationwide things are looking better than I'd dreamed.

I heard Townsend was flying banners today saying "Ehrlich supports assault rifles." What an ass
This night couldn't have happened to a more deserving party. Congratulations DemocRATS!

1 add on. SD will not count any absentee ballots until all of today's votes are counted. Don't know how many there are or what part of state.
PS the ole dem advisor Pat Cadel on BC is on the verge of slashing his wrists.

If the Dems don't overhaul their party they'll be out of power for the next 40 years. Pray they stay in denial.

Thune has it in the bag!
With 200 "West River" precincts left to report in, it's 50/50 with Thune trainling by 300 votes.
West River is cowboy country and Thune's stomping grounds. Johnson is going to be buried.
And Little Tommy Daschle, the long knives are going to come out for you as the architect of the DemocRATS total loss of power!
To: freedomcrusader
Yes!! News says western precincts reporting last, heavy GOP...
To: Lyford
And Thune has taken the lead! Up by 2220 votes (138882-136662) with 165 precincts to go...
