Coleman leads by 4,000 votes but the concern is that the Metro Minneapolis area is slow in coming in and Mondale can pick up 4,000 votes in one precinct there. On the other hand Coleman was Major of St. Paul and if those returns are out there some of St. Paul may offset liberal Minneapolis.
