... Judge Collins Kilgore has granted an injunction on behalf of the Democratic Party to keep the polls in Pulaski County open until 9:00 p.m. ...
Wow, your honor. Why stop now? Why not appoint yourself Lord-God-King of the World as long as you're legislating from your bench.

The Democratic party asked for the injuction because of the lack of ballots at many polling locations around the county

the dems just can't seem to rig er run an election!

This is almost unbelievable. The precedent was set in St Louis in 2000. A judge cannot order the polls open late.

The dems are so damn blatently corrupt with absolutely no regard whatsoever for the rule of law. But what really pisses me off is that at least half of America doesn't see a problem with it!

Exactly why the RATs want to make sure they have all of the judgeships! Figures! Makes me angry that the law is always the loser with Rat judges!

Here's the reason for the injuction the Democrat's got.
Let give the translation on this one. PULASKI COUNTY!
The Democrat County Clerk totally screwed up the election process here. As of just about "3 Weeks" ago her office, that of the idiotic Carolyn Staley, had as many as 100,000 voters not updated in the county computer system. Wrong ballots had been sent, today people voting for the wrong people in the wrong precints, etc. You get the picture.
As of about 5 days ago over 40,000 people still had not been accounted for in the computer system system. We have roughly 235,000 voters in this county. No other county in the state having any problems like this. If Hutchinson pulls this out it will be because of massive voting problems and scewups right here in Pulaski County. So the fact then Dems are filing for an injuction is no surprise, look for lots of votes here to be thrown out and/or contested. it is going to be ugly here.

Doesn't this mean the MN election may be thrown out by federal court?

Time for civil disobedience. Local pubbies should get in the lines, and then (if they got in line after 7:00 PM) should SIT DOWN and block the doorway of the polling place when they get to the front of the line.

Breathtakingly audacious, and completely outrageous! But I'm not surprised - we always get screwed when elections are moved from the polling booth to the courtroom.

FROM DRUDGE:

Republicans' statement on judge's order:

Little Rock - Tonight the Democrat Party of Arkansas is once again attempting to steal an election. The Democrat Party asked a Democrat judge to extend voting hours from 7:30 until 10 p.m. in Pulaski County, a heavily Democrat county. The judge granted the request without consulting the Republican Party, extending the hours from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 pm. The Democrats acted unilaterally, without reasonable notice to anyone.

The Republican Party believes in the right of all Arkansans to vote and the sanctity of the ballot. However, we also believe in the rule of law. Arkansas law provides:

7-5-304 Opening and closing polls - Time

"The polls shall be opened at 7:30 a.m., and they shall remain open continuously until 7:30 p.m."

Under Arkansas law, anyone who is standing in line at the normal poll closing time of 7:30 is able to vote. No one was to be excluded from voting if they were standing in line at 7:30 p.m. The Democrats are simply looking for another opportunity to change and manipulate Arkansas election law to their partisan political advantage.

The Democrats' request and the judge's ruling apply only to Pulaski County. The other 74 of Arkansas' 75 counties are unaffected and therefore are being treated unequally. The citizens of Columbia and Phillips County for example are being treated as second class citizens by the Democrat Party because they are not being given additional hours to vote.

Just a couple of weeks ago, in Clark County, we saw a Democrat Judge exclude Republican student voters in order to help out a Democrat candidate. The Democrat Party's shenanigans tonight in Pulaski County look a lot like Clark County. This is another example of the Democrat party doing anything to get their candidates elected.
